“Prior to RaaWee, our team of 28 Attendance Officers were completing an average of 35,000 interventions per school year,” says Cindy Mendiola, At-Risk Coordinator, at Laredo ISD in Texas. “Following the implementation of the system, our team completed a total of 95,924 interventions during its first full year of use. That is almost three times the amount of interventions of any of the prior years,” she says.

“RaaWee has assisted us to raise awareness on and improve attendance. In addition, it has opened up more time and understanding for discussing and addressing concerns impacting student daily attendance. The district and campuses have benefited from increased engagement and understanding from our parents—and raised accountability on our students. Staff members have been better able to increase their intervention efforts and maintain organized documentation, which allows [them] to quickly access and be concurrent with what is happening with each student,” she reports.

“Access to viewing financial impact creates greater understanding and urgency among campus administrators, and allows our district administration to work toward identified risk factors,” she adds.
