RaaWee K12 SMS Terms and Conditions

1. SMS Program

RaaWee K12 Solutions, Inc. (“RaaWee K12,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the RaaWee K12 Attendance+ communication platform to participating schools, school districts, and educational organizations.

Parents, guardians, adult students where applicable, and authorized school personnel who expressly opt in may receive non-marketing, school-related text messages from a participating educational organization through the RaaWee K12 platform.

The messaging program may be identified as:

RaaWee K12 Attendance+™ SMS Notification Program

Messages will identify the participating school or district and may state that the message is powered by RaaWee K12.

2. Types of Messages

Depending on the participating school or district, text messages may include:

  • Student attendance and absence notifications
  • Tardiness notifications
  • Attendance intervention reminders
  • Attendance warning notices
  • Meeting and appointment reminders
  • Attendance contract notifications
  • Home-visit or follow-up notifications
  • Secure document notifications
  • Requests to contact the school
  • School-related administrative updates
  • Responses to questions initiated by the recipient

The program does not send third-party advertising, lead-generation messages, or unrelated promotional content.

3. Consent to Receive Messages

Text messages are sent only to recipients who have provided express consent through an approved opt-in process.

By opting in, you authorize the participating school or district and RaaWee K12, as its messaging technology provider, to send recurring text messages to the mobile telephone number you provided.

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Providing a mobile telephone number to a school, including listing a number in a student information system, does not by itself constitute consent to receive text messages through this program. Separate affirmative SMS consent may be required.

You confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile telephone number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on student attendance activity, intervention requirements, recipient interactions, and the communication practices of the participating school or district.

Some recipients may receive multiple messages during periods involving attendance concerns or active interventions. Other recipients may receive messages less frequently.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier and mobile service plan.

RaaWee K12 and participating schools or districts do not charge recipients a separate fee for receiving text messages. Contact your wireless carrier for information regarding your messaging and data plan.

6. How to Opt Out

You may unsubscribe at any time by replying:

STOP

You may also use other supported opt-out keywords, including:

STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT

After submitting an opt-out request, you may receive one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. No additional messages will be sent through that messaging program unless you provide consent again.

Your decision to opt out of text messages will not prevent the school or district from contacting you through other lawful communication methods, including telephone calls, email, postal mail, or school communication systems.

7. How to Get Help

For assistance, reply:

Information may be provided to telecommunications carriers, messaging providers, and other service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate and deliver the messaging program, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with applicable law, or provide services on behalf of the participating school or district.

Text messaging may not be fully secure. Recipients should not send Social Security numbers, passwords, payment-card information, medical records, or other highly sensitive information by text message.

Messages will generally contain only the information reasonably necessary to communicate the applicable school or attendance matter.
