Honoring Women Leaders Advancing Student Success

This Women’s History Month, we recognize the leadership, dedication, and impact of women across education who are strengthening student success in schools and districts nationwide. From classroom teachers to district leaders, women continue to drive meaningful change in how schools support engagement, belonging, and opportunity for every student.

Attendance improvement is a powerful example of that leadership in action. Across the country, women are leading initiatives that connect data, relationships, and community partnerships to help students stay engaged and present in school. Their work reinforces an important truth: improving attendance is not just about numbers, it’s about understanding student needs and building systems that support every learner.

RaaWee at CASCWA State Conference

It was an incredible experience connecting with dedicated attendance and student support leaders from across California at this year’s CASCWA State Conference. The energy, insights, and shared commitment to improving student outcomes made it a truly impactful event.

Our sessions, From Me to We: Building Campus Staff Capacity to Increase Student Attendance and Using Technology to Simplify the Challenges of Supervising Attendance, sparked meaningful conversations around building shared ownership, strengthening staff capacity, and using data systems to bring clarity and consistency to attendance practices.

At the RaaWee K12 booth, we had the opportunity to meet so many passionate educators and district leaders. The engagement was strong throughout, and it was great to see attendees actively participating, including making our raffle a fun highlight of the event.

We’re grateful for the connections, conversations, and momentum coming out of CASCWA, and we’re excited to keep supporting districts in driving stronger attendance outcomes.
